Practical Session 2 Update – Spain

We appreciate how much the cancellation of our exams has affected learners and we’re working hard on solutions to ensure they can gain their qualifications at the earliest opportunity.

Provided travel and COVID restrictions are lifted, we will open a booking period from 2 September – 23 September with exams to be held October - December. We will continue to keep this under review as our ability to accept bookings remains conditional on the restrictions continuing to be lifted. An update to Applicants will be announced as soon as we can and our Representatives will provide further guidance in due course. We are looking forward to providing candidates with exams again and thank you for your loyalty and support at this difficult time.

When music speaks louder than words

In a direct response to the deep injustices that have been dividing our world and the global pandemic that has affected communities of colour in a disturbingly disproportionate manner, Sphinx Organization presents Elegy: In Memoriam - Stephen Lawrence, performed by the Sphinx Virtuosi ensemble.

Elegy was written in 1999 by Black British composer Philip Herbert in response to the tragic murder of Stephen Lawrence, a black British teenager from Plumstead, South East London. He was murdered in a racially motivated attack while waiting for the bus. After a lengthy, arduous process, two of the perpetrators were convicted of murder in 2012. The occasion has been recorded as one of the most important moments in Britain’s history of criminal justice and one of the highest-profile unsolved racially motivated murders.
